We are seeking a motivated and experienced Staff Specialist/Consultant Psychiatrist who will work as part of the team across the Region. Servicing a population of approximately 116,000, the Region has major sites located approximately 50km apart. This position will be attractive to a highly skilled and motivated medical professional who views challenges as opportunities and is driven by a passion to improve healthcare in the complex world of modern health systems. The right applicant will play a key role in developing health care at both patient and system levels. Experience with Inpatient Mental Health, Adult Community Mental Health Services and/or Crisis Assessment Mental Health will be highly regarded. The successful candidate will provide specialist diagnosis, treatment and care for public patients. They will provide a consultative service in Psychiatry to other disciplines and to other health services in the area. Who are we?
