Specialist/Consultant General Surgeon -Upper GI interest

Assist the Director of Surgery and public Hospital in ensuring that Surgical services provided by the Health service, are of the highest standard and delivered in a reliable and cost-effective manner given available resources. The role entails management of acute and elective surgical conditions both in adults and children. The candidate should have a strong interest, and demonstrated expertise, in Upper GI Surgery as part of their General Surgical Scope of Practice. The successful candidate will assist with the education and supervision of surgical trainees at PHO, RMO and intern level, of medical students and of other medical staff.
